Sažetak
Presentation gave an overview of the institutional and policy framework of the eSouthEastern Europe Initiative. Countries show different level of implementation of the eSEE Agenda Plus, but all countries do show progress in implementation. This is evident from the trends in ranking acording to the WEF's Network Readiness Index. WEG Competitiveness index components on Technological Readiness and Innovation show clear clustering of countries. The challenges of implementation include moving from centraly driven projects and objectives to intrasectoral projects and projects in local and regional level. Problems are connected with moving from infrastructure and equipment to content and services. Finally, use of ICTs for democratic processes, participation and inclusion is challenging. Information Society development is politically driven process in the region. There are needs for building capacity in multistakeholder coordination, interdepartmental project management, eParticipation and accessibility by design, and regional and Europe-wide networking.
