Sažetak
Material properties are required for performing of different calculations when determining load carrying capacity and durability of structural components and machine elements. Usually, experimental facilities are unavailable, experiments are long-lasting and expensive. Hence, alternative solutions and material properties sources are needed. Estimation methods offer simple and quick solution to this problem, however, selection of appropriate method is difficult. Different estimation methods are presented in the lecture as well as methodology with which more appropriate selection of estimation methods can be performed.
