Sažetak
The study presents preliminary psychophysiological data analyses from 16 individuals (10 women and 6 men) with acute stress disorder within month and six months after trauma experience. Half of the participants met criteria for PTSD after six months. Psychophisiological parameters can provide better clarification between ASD and PTSD patients. Heightende startle magnitude in the immediate aftermath of trauma may be good predictor of PTSD.
