Sažetak
The commentary on J. de Jong’s chapter (Disaster) Mental Health highlights the need for a model based on community interventions for low- and middle-income countries where the professional resources are limited. The importance of social support after massive trauma is emphasized. Criticism is provided regarding the interventions at the international level and the omission of the applicability of the proposed model to trauma brought about by natural disasters and not only major conflicts.
