Traditionally, the Conference is interdisciplinary as reflected in the range of topics: Special Session: Language Technologies: An Infrastructure for the Information Society ; Networking, Grids, Middleware and Distributed Platforms ; Business Intelligence, Information Systems and Databases ; Knowledge Management and Collaboration Systems ; Human Computer Interaction ; Technology Enhanced Learning ; Information Technology in Business and Government ; Data Mining, Statistics and Biometrics ; Modeling, Simulation and Optimization ; and Theory of Computing and Computing Methodologies. This year we received 150 papers and poster abstracts written by 325 authors. Of these 325 authors, 227 have come from 35 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Philippines, Portugal, R. Macedonia, R. of Kosova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, USA, Vietnam, and 98 of them are from Croatia. The Proceedings contain 110 accepted papers: 37 from Croatia, and 73 from abroad.
