Sažetak
The need to develop foreign language communication skills in the field of law is rapidly increasing and represents a precondition both for law students’ professional education and for their mobility within the network of European universities as promoted by the Bologna Declaration. On the other hand, intercultural communication represents one of the highly ranked values of the European Union. The intention of this paper is to inform the wider academic community about the ways, methods and projects within LSP courses German and English for Lawyers at the Faculty of Law in Osijek (Croatia) by which the principles of intercultural communication are promoted and applied as an effort to meet the needs of multilingual and multicultural Europe by developing the ability of Croatian students to communicate across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
