Sažetak
In total, 243 equine serum samples collected at the beginning of 1994 were tested by HI for antibodies to several strains of equine influenza virus. HI antibody titres of 1:32 or greater to subtype A/equine-1 influenza virus were detected in 53, 9 per cent of tested serum samples, whereas the same level of HI antibodies to A/equine- 2/Zagreb/88 and A/equine-2/Zagreb/6 was detected in only 12, 6 and 4n5 per cent of tested samples, respectively. These results concur with the opinion about persistent circulation of equine H7N7 subtype among equine population.
