Sažetak
Two-dimensional FEM longitudinal strength analysis in an early design stage is made for the case of a cruise vessel. Wave bending moment is determined in the accordance with the classification rules. The distribution of the corresponding wave load is calculated as a quasi-static problem by placing the vessel in a trochoid wave. Stress distribution is analyzed in order to evaluate the participation of the superstructure in the global hull strength.
