Sažetak
The paper describes changes that have recently occurred in the higher education system in Croatia according to the Bologna process, transforming the old curricula into new ones, mostly based on the three cycles of 3+2+3. The system of higher education for engineers is briefly described at the university level, along with entering requirements. Different types of programmes, university and professional ones, are offered for all of the three cycles. Some examples of partial curricula including geo-engineering subjects are given for all levels. The system of continuing education required by the Chambers of Civil Engineers is also briefly described.
