Sažetak
In this paper I want to show that apart from epistemology, ethics and metaphysics, we should recognize one more area where Hume’s influence is enormous, and that is s relatively young area, sub-field of the philosophy of art, namely, philosophy of literature. My claim is that some of the central issues that trigger aestheticians and art lovers into heated philosophical debates about literature today have their origin in the writings of David Hume or were recognized and anticipated by Hume.
