Sažetak
Croatian legal system has not yet been exposed to screening or other control of approximation of domestic legislation to the EC law. In preparation for future contractual arrangements with EU the issue of convergency of Croatian law and EC law becomes urgent. The hypothesis of the paper is there are converging legal area of approximation both in European law and in the provisions of GATS. This refers to the area of services and respective distribution channels. In EU law, this policies and legislation develops within competition law, particularly block exemptions. The comparable issues in WTO defined in the GATS which describes obligations of demonopolisation and exclusive service suppliers. Both legal documents will be obligatory for Croatian approximation legislation and author suggest that due to the fact that Croatia has limited legal and other to competition related human resources, these project should be accomplished in coordination. Otherwise, Croatian legislation as an outcome of divided approximations, may result in inconsistency.
