Sažetak
In cooperation with researchers from Ireland and Slovenia, ex-ante evaluation of two key development strategies in Bosnia and Herzegovina was carried out. The evaluation was implemented as an integral part of development strategies and it included, through an interactive and ongoing process of cooperation and several workshops, for the transfer of basic knowledge and experience of the previous evaluation to local experts and development stakeholders. Therefore, the project, in addition to the assessment and final contribution to the quality and 'usability' of strategies, introduced the concept, principles, tools and practice of ex-ante evaluation to coordinators and strategic and policy planners in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was evaluated that a significant increase in institutional capacity of local planners in the country was achieved.
