Sažetak
The research has been carried out in order to contribute to the knowledge of mechanisms of rapid setting of the high alumina cement (HAC)and the development of rapid setting and hardening cement materials. The influence of the alkali metal salts on rapid setting and hardening of HAC has been studied. The influence of cations of alkali metal salts, as well as the influence of anions, has been studied and a contibution to the explanation of their various influences on the setting time has been given. The strength development of HAC at very early ages, and final strength have been investigated, and contribution to better understanding of rapid setting and hardening of HAC in the presence of lithium salts has been given.
