Sažetak
The paper gives description of properties and application of PVD coatings applied by physical deposition in the phase of evaporation at 5000 C which are designed to provide enhancement of tool grinding, edge conditioning and polishing services and prolongation of tools life time. This technology operates effectively on a broad range of substrate materials creating superior adhesion and performance as well as micron-scale thin-film coatings (usually between 2 to 20 m), displaying superior hardness, high corrosion and high temperature resistance.
