Sažetak
For protection of 11 m deep excavation pit in Zagreb, the sheet piling wall in length from 11 to 14 m was constructed. Design of the construction elements and the prediction of soil displacement were done by com-puter program Plaxis. During the construction period, inclinometer measurements after each excavation phase were performed to define sheet pile displacements. Measurements show that the part of the sheet pile that is imbedded in the ground is more curved and maximum displacement is half that it was calculated. It indicates that strength and stiffness of the ground below the excavation level are bigger.
