Sažetak
According to current traffic statistics, increased air traffic is expected within Croatian Airspace, so the new sectorization and control strip management is to be implemented. This article addresses those elements of the ACC Zagreb, that are directly impacted by fix strip implementation and application. Aspects to be considered comprise the choice of the strip format ; strip display for the purpose of identification of possible conflicts ; analysis and modifications of airspace structure, sectorization and traffic flows ; simulation and validation, including tests for the identification of possible familiarisation and training of staff ; and problem areas. The project is oriented in such a way that results will be based upon experiences derived from real time simulations carried out before implementation.
