Sažetak
It is described why the Debye-Huckel theory and its extensions were unable to explain the experimental activity coefficient functions in high concentrations. Using the parameters and the equation, activity coefficients and activities can be calculated and the molality axes can be transformed into activity axes. In two figures it is demonstrated that the influence of the ionic mass of cations ans anions combined with the molar mass of each electrolyte upon the activity coefficient correspond to their position in the Periodic Table. The model of the point charge double layer is described with a figure. Based on the same model, the function which replaces the Smoluchowski zeta-potential function, and the quotient of the Madelung cobnstant potentials, replaces the analogous Smoluchowski value.
