Sažetak
The Republic of Croatia tourism development strategy indicates nautical tourism as one of the aspects on which the future tourism development lies. Marinas are the most important segment and infrastructure carrier of the entire Croatian nautical tourism. A total of 50 marinas have been registered in the Republic of Croatia. Vessel owners from different countries are accommodated in the marinas. It is precisely the geographical dispersal of the service users that is favorable to their use of the Internet as a means of communication with potential and actual users. The aim of this work is to show the results of research that has been done in observing whether and how 50 Croatian marinas are represented on the Internet. Data will be statistically processed in order to give an answer to the question on which Internet service is used by Croatian marinas. Further data analysis will include various statistics analyzing whether and how much marinas use Internet marketing in the segment of promotion, sales, market research and customer support. As a conclusion of the work, recommendations will be given for future Croatian marinas to use Internet marketing and present the advantages this brings.
