Sažetak
Management of container terminal includes a large number of different economic and operational decisions that directly affect the overall performance. By measuring and determining the maximum capacities of the port container terminal will allow it to increase its productivity. This paper explores the current state of the container terminal in Rijeka, and points to problems that arise in the operational process of the port services. Then we determine the negative impacts of incompatible container terminal capacity on the environment. We propose measures for elimination of perceived non-compliance that will reduce negative impacts on the environment and contribute to greater productivity and efficiency of the terminal.
