Sažetak
In the paper, the influence of built-in window element on required thermal energy for space heating has been analyzed. The effects of using mobile window insulation during the night for energy saving have also been analyzed and calculated. Calculations have been carried out for a typical room placed in the central front part of building. Heat losses have been calculated using a mathematical model for such a room. The meteorological data of external parameters from Test Referent Year for the North Adriatic Coast climatic region have been used as input data. As a result, the influence of window size increase on thermal energy consumption has been shown. Annual heat savings by using such mobile window insulation has also been calculated and presented.
