Sažetak
The article deals with the five louteria finds from the Croatian Adriatic. Three of them are unpublished finds, belonging to the ship's equipment. There is enough evidence for the use of louteria on ships, but for the time being it is not easy to decide whether their purpose was a profane or sacred one. The theory of a louterion as a sacrificial altar remains rather convincing, although the profane side of it should not be neglected.
