Sažetak
Creatine(N-methyl-N-guanylglycin) in known to play an important role in mechanochemical transduction processes generating ATP from phosphocreatine. Only few reports demonstrated its effect on regulation of glucose homeostasis.... The results demonstrated an identical insulinotropic potency uf sulfonylurea preparation (Euglucon N) and creatine, and the efficacy of glycemic control after oral administration of creatine is comparable to that obtained with Euglucon N. The efficacy of glycemic control is best achieved with the combination therapy (simultaneous application of Euglucon N and creatine ).
