Sažetak
Digital integration in network connection of production workflows in the graphic industry is strongly dependent on the development and implementation of information technology. The integration of informatics opens to a certain extent possibilities of remote management of control processes as well as of creating data bases with input parameters. The external modular units that are integrated into the existing production processes are under constant development and aim at a unique production process with a possibility of permanent upgrading. Effective communication within different platform environments does not depend only on the integration of CIM, but also on the way of communication within the prepress-press-postpress link. Management information connects production resources in the form of vertical system integrations while horizontal communications connect work operations in various execution phases. Work knots describe production processes that are implemented as well as time-scheduling of the complete execution phases with executional technical characteristics for creation of the desired product. JDF, as a newly proposed standard of graphic communication describes production phases and all the processes for performance of work tasks. JDF knots include attributes and elements, and the elements include their attributes and subelements, and they again their various elements. The distribution of work tasks sets the preconditions for optimization of the total work process with the description of each knot individually. In such situations no general algorithms are used for optimization, but each group of optimization loops is associated with a specialized algorithm. Experimental designs of information transfer simulations are created with evaluation of the collected production values that are recorded in a real production process. The program solutions with the details of work operations and specifications of hierarchical priorities that are available nowadays do not ensure work optimization of the production. The basic interaction of development segments of production process organization implements the installed network connection, which enables exchange of information in both directions of the production. Functional applications are created as a basis for construction of production knots as the starting point for distribution of executive functions. The approach to a complex production is enabled through modeling of production and computer simulation. The basic and starting solutions can be applied for some printing houses, but each further production process requires individualization i.e. solutions that will enable a faster and higher- quality production with minimal stoppages and as high as possible productivity only for this particular process.
