Sažetak
The aim of this investigation is to determine the effects of alder-fixed N on the growth of various white willow clones and the selection of genotypes with the best ability of N-conversion.It has been shown that influence of the black alder on the white willow clones production is neglectable during the first five years of plantation age. From the fifth to the eight year of plantation age the influence in terms of positive modifications is significant. From the eight to the tenth year the black alder influence on the white willow clones growth is very pronounced in terms of negative modifications. at the plantation age 10-13 the number of lones with positive modifications is reduced considerably, while at the age of 15-17 years positive influence is completely lost. The white willow clones recommendable for growing in association with the black alder on its habitats in Podravina have been selected. Principles of establishing and menagment of such a plantations have been ,also, recommended.
