Sažetak
Introducing of new information and communication technologies in education enables big possibility in prepare lecture and in the teaching. This presentation shows how we introduce new technologies and what we work to produce better study on Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Department of Electronic Systems and Information Processing. In addition to classical methods of teaching: books, blackboard and chalk, student can find all lectures on Internet and on CD ROM. All lectures are made in a form of presentation in Power Point and simulation in MATLAB. On this way student may be careful during lecture. Lectures which are prepared on this way are adapted for distance education – videoconferencing. First distance lecture in Croatia was 23 January 1997 from Zagreb to students in Osijek. From then, we teach to students in Osijek every week in a form of videoconference. We show advantages and disadvantages of new ICT in study in comparison with classical methods. What we do to improve this disadvantages? We show from our experience what we do: to motivate students to learn, to learn students how learn, how their knowledge apply in practice and make ready students for lifelong learning.
