Sažetak
The aim of this article was to describe a new approach in the fault tree analysis. This approach is based on the application of binary decision diagrams on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex systems that are presented by fault trees. It was our intention to prove that by means of this method it is possible to achieve a few orders of magnitude, faster and more accurate results in the system analysis. Even in case of applying partial analysis in comparison to the conventional approaches better results are being achieved.
