Sažetak
Rats telencephalon in early stages of development was analysed morphologically and stereologically on semithin (1 um) serial sections. Histological sections were systematically inspected with regard to morphologic changes of developing telencephalon from the stage of one embryonic zone (at 12th day of gestation) to the stage of three embryonic zone (at 15th day of gestation). The surface densities (SV) of neuroepithelium, its surrounding mesenchyme and their borderline have been stereologically examined and compared. The results demonstrated increase of neuroepithelium but all surface densities significantly decrease during telencephalons origin intensive growth.
