Sažetak
The occurrence of the early life stage of the oarfish Regalecus glesne Ascanius, 1772 is reported for the first time in the Adriatic waters. One larvae (SL=103, 4 mm) was found alive in the waters of open Adriatic near the remote island Palagruža. Findings of early life stages of this species are very rare in the Mediterranean and were previously only reported from the area of Strait of Sicilly and Elba island.
