Sažetak
This paper deals with the problem of map building of an unknown environment using a fuzzy-controlled mobile robot. The robot performs sonar scans in suitable locations ; after each scan a new map is obtained according to the sonar reflections and the new map is fused with the previous ones using an image matching procedure. Using fuzzy control the robot movements are quite precise ; errors in robot positioning are corrected with the fusion procedure.
