Sažetak
The investigations dealt with in this paper were all performed on protein fibre (wool), and the results obtained can, due to the similarity of chemical composition, be easily applied on human hair, too. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the impact of the chemical structure of the dyestuff lused, connected with the color tone, on the properties of the wool dyed. The following dyestuff were used: C.I. Mordant-Yellow 10, Orange l, Black 10 and Blue 48, with various contents o1individual dyes, which had an impact on the chosen color shade. Dyeing was performed at pH 5.5 Samples dyed in June were exposed to sunlight for 2 and 4 weeks and then tested. The strength of the dyed fibres was measured and color tone changes presented in CIE Lab diagram, together with the dE value, using a remission spectrophotometer. Detrimental influence of Yellow 10 and Orange 1 dyes (mono-azo) was noted in combination with other dyes (dis-azo and antrakinon). The rise of the content of the former dyes results in the reduction of wool fibre strength, changes in coloration tone and loss of the yellow tone. The result: obtained indicate that the protection of the protein fibre should be adapted to the oxidative action of ozone and other atmospheric influences, as well as to the choice of dyestuffs and their chemical constitution, which should be taken into account in recipe prediction for the chosen hue.
