Sažetak
Student modelling presents analysis and predictions of student's behaviour and learning results. So, as one of the main e-learning issues, it is necessary to expand its research area in learning environments, like blended learning environments. This paper presents the student modelling conducted in the blended learning environment within University surroundings. It is presented with the model SOBEL (Student-Oriented Blended Learning Environment) where courses are conducted in the blended way: instruction is partly conducted in classroom, and partly using LMS system or some particular software programs. Comparing to classroom instruction and e-learning individually, blended learning approach enables students being more active and closer to the educational process. Therefore, blended learning environment is seen as pedagogical approach that best combines the advantages of both methods of instruction, and so presents good foundation for development of student modelling. The case study scenarios are conducted at University of Split, within courses Web services and programming, Web design and Introduction to programming, and appropriate analysis results are also presented.
