Sažetak
The difficulties of obtaining high achievement in sport and at the same time in education are today greater than ever. Both, sport and education at higher levels demand significant quantity of time and effort and can oppose each other. At the other hand, society expectations are far from moderate, it wishes educated sportsmen and scholars engaged in sport activities. In this study, the status of sport achievement of female undergraduate students of four study groups was registrated with aim to enlighten the problem. METHODS The sample of female students of agriculture (n=268), students of teachers education academy from Pula (n=176) and from Zagreb (n=171), and students of physical education (n=158) were asked to mark on a six point scale the highest level of sport achievement they obtained. The scale consists of: 1. I have never been engaged in any sport activity 2. I've used to practice sport from time to time, for recreation 3. I've trained regularly and compete in school sport 4. I've trained regularly and compete for sport club of local or regional level 5. I've been active in sport and obtained the results of state level 6. I've been active in sport and obtained the results of international level. Contingency table was made and  2 analysis was done by SPSS. RESULTS Contingency table is presented in Table 1. The value of  2 = 387.7 with degrees of freedom D.F.=15 is significant on the level of p<.0000. Table 1. But, significant difference between groups is noted and students of agriculture are lowest and students of physical education are highest in their achievement in sport
