Sažetak
This paper presents the possibility of obtaining vertical profiles of modified refractive index based on regular aerological balloon measurements. Using a multi-year data series of two aerological stations in the Republic of Croatia ; Zagreb and Zadar, we compared the current profiles of modified refractive index with a simple exponential model according to Recommendation ITU-R P.453-9. The comparison showed that the simple exponential model is usable up to the heights of 1000 meters above the ground.
