Sažetak
Paperboard package is used for vast majority of products displayed on retail shelves. In the packaging design phase, a lot of considerations have to be taken into account. The package has to be suitable for the type of product that it contains. This relates to the choice of packaging material, its dimensions and design characteristics which provide optimal packaging cost and functionality. As there are certain patterns used in package design, this paper proposes the possibility of categorizing different demands and using them as the criteria for software aided optimal design problem solving.
