Sažetak
This paper looks at the possibility of using a modern information system, with software support, to improve the management of construction , maintenance, and rehabilitation of existing city sewer pipes. The information systems is the key to the development of an optimal management model for underground city infrastructure. The autors explain how closer monitoring, new construction technologies, better maintenance, less disruption to road users and lower overall costs are all factors that are enabled through the application of a modern information systrem within an optimal management model.
