Sažetak
The PET technology is a modern diagnostic technique, based on the use of radiopharmaceuticals, produced by a cyclotron, which are then injected into a patient to obtain superior imaging quality of the patients' condition. It is very efficient in cancer diagnostics. PET technology savings relate to early disease discovery, treatment status and the operational evaluation. There is a sufficient number of patients in Croatia that are requiring PET services each year, thus justifying the proposed investment options.
