Sažetak
Factors affecting maximum possible relative concentrations of simple (MAa) and/or mixed-ligand(MAaBb)complexes in solutions are given for three cases: formation of simple species MAa only, parallel formation of MAa and MBb complexes ; and parallel formation of binary and ternary species. Equations that give the concentrations of A (in the absence of B or in the presence of a constant level of B), at which the highest percentage of the total dissolved metal is bound in the species of interest, are derived assuming different values of the maxiomum coordination number. The application of such results in experimental work is discussed
