Sažetak
The „generalized hydraulic theory" is applied to eight severe northern Adriatic bora cases, which consist of two layers, each with constant static stability in the upstream region. The agreement between values derived from the theory and the observation is reasonably good, especially in consideration of the often complicated vertical structure in the atmosphere and the high sensitivity of theoretical results on input data.
