Sažetak
Child Health Card is program-product designed for computer recording and consideration of the Child Health Card data. Child Health Card is a document on the individual - child health care level, which offers information about child growth and it's health state. In the Republic of Croatia children monitoring with the Card covers children from newborn age till the school starting (in the age of 6 years). For every child's medical systematic examination, single card page is anticipated, and under page number there is also examination code from the database.Pilot test for card's applicability is carried out momentarily on the area of 12 Croatian Counties, what is more than 50% of the total Croatian territory. From each County, every child's data are entered into database, and with modem links have been transferred into the central computer in the Children's Hospital Zagreb, where they are approachable for insight and processing. Software functioning is been thoughtfully toward "client-server" principle. For "Child Health Card" software development, tools for development of the program-products Microsoft Access 97/2000 was used, and full integration with the office package Microsoft Office 97/2000 was realised.
