Sažetak
Microbial state is an important factor of soil fertility. An understanding of microbial dynamic as a part of below-ground processes is crucial in order to predict the long-term response of ecosystems to particular management practice. Soil tillage has a special role in this respect, because different tillage systems greatly change the soil conditions, and thereby strongly affect the microbiological processes as well. The aim of our study was to determine changes in the soil microbial state after 15 years of applying different soil tillage practice. We investigated the dynamic of the microbial functional groups (ammonifiers, nitrifiers and denitrifiers) as well as total microbial activities under different cultivation conditions during the season. We found that no till practice has a positive effect on the size of ammonifying and nitrifying communities. The positive effect was also noticed for total microbial activity. The seasonal impact is only visible when investigating microbial activity such significantly higher activity was found in April in comparison to July.
