Sažetak
The article attempts to reconstruct value models of Croatians from catering establishment names. The owners of cafes and restaurants normally attempt to reconcile their names with the symbolical value systems of their potential clientele. Hence, these names, when considered in their totality, can serve as an indicator of what the desirable word looks like from the viewpoint of Croatian culture, and generate reliable clues about the social value systems and cltural models widespread in Croatia.
