Sažetak
The objective of this paper is primarily to question the categories of peregrinus and their communities observing general rules of Roman law and their actual application recorded in the inscriptions. It is very probable that such categories after 1st century came to be so common that they were actually, and in some cases even formally (sic!) equaled with Roman categories of personality (individual, juristic person). Constitutio Antoniniana was probably only a formal affirmation of such actual practice that much earlier than 212 A.D. abolished differences between Roman citizens (and as Roman juristic persons) and peregrine element in the form of individual or in the form of municipal organization.
