Sažetak
Satellite communication technologies are in use for remote supervision and monitoring of operations in lot of industries worldwide. In this review was analysed possibility of monitoring disposal of chemical in bulk from ships to sea in coastal area. That disposal happens beacause of profit in maritime industry and because of lack of facilities on some terminals in ports. Preventive analysys is possible since the technology for that exists. By the use of GPS technology and reading od characteristics of chemicals in mean time, the pollution can be prevented. Monitoring of such of pollution will be helping protection of human health, protection of environment and auquatic life. Contribution of this idea is to development and implementation of communication technologies and detection systems on ships.
