Sažetak
Although human problem at work received a great concern in scientific literature, recently it has been analysed more in terms of the work-stress concept. However, the concept remained relatively ambiguous – due partly to its proliferation in public discourse, but also with regard to predominance of epidemiological aspects in scientific work-stress literature. While psychological studies has made important contributions to the field of work-stress involving aspect of subjectivity as important question on the individual level, sociological studies of work-stress have concentrated on questioning recent changes in work conditions mentioned in the public discourse as a main causes of work-stress: job tenure, work intesification, management and flexibility and reinterpretation of antagonistic nature of work relations in medical terms.
