Sažetak
Presentation contains an overview of the results of the pilot implementation of science- based prevention program - PATHS in Croatia. Program was implemented within the project - Communities that Care: development, implementation and evaluation of prevention in community (2007-2011, led by Josipa Basic, PhD). Since 2007, universal prevention program PATHS was delivered in two elementary schools (Labin and Porec) to the 1st grade students until the end of their 4th grade.Preliminary results indicate the existence of differences between students participating in the PATHS program and those who did not participate in it. Children in PATHS classes have a richer emotional dictionary, offer more solutions to problem situations and tend to solve problems more creatively.
