Sažetak
Today’s fast expansion of new products on the market results in increasing the need for simulation of manufacturing processes. The most common method used by computer simulation is the finite element method. This work compares the cutting force measured by turning on the lathe machining center SBL 500 with the one obtained by software package Deform 3D version 6. The goal is to explore the effectiveness of buying a software package considering the accuracy of its results.
