Sažetak
Psoriasis, as some sa other skin disease, has an influence on many spheres of patient s life. It influences the mental image the patients have of themselves and it indirectly shapes their personality traits as well as it defines the quality of their lives. Aims: To establish the amount of influence that psoriasis has on the quality of patients lives and their psychical traits. Methods: During the treatment of psoriasis patients at the special hospital for rehabilitation of patients with psoriasis, personality questionnaries and questionnaries on quality of life and perceived social support were used. Conclusion: The obtained results indicated that in order to effectively treat psoriasis, a psychological treatment was also needed as well as the support of patients broader environment.
