Sažetak
The real influence of quality management practices on company performance is one of most important questions in quality management theory and practice. This paper analyzes the impact of key total quality practices on business outcomes in Croatian manufacturing industry by applying hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Theoretical part of the paper presents the results of previous research on the topic of quality vs. business results. Key quality management practices are than selected and analyzed. The final part of the paper presents the results of a survey conducted on the sample of 251 companies from Croatian manufacturing industry. Results of the survey allow all quality practitioners to gain insight into the realization of quality principles. What is even more important results show which quality practices have greatest positive impact on business results and which of them require substantial improvement.
