Sažetak
This paper describes findings from a preliminary and exploratory study of work-place values in the USA, China, and Croatia. A theoretical framework and contemporary work cohorts for each country are presented. It is posited that an understanding that individuals' values differ but tend to reflect the societal values of the period in which they grew up can be a valuable aid in helping to explain and predict behavior. Issues of generalizability, validity, and reliability are noted and a call for further research encouraged.
