Rationale: The insufficiency of the standard clinical diagnostic techniques in the early detection of relapse during follow-up NSCLC imposed the use of markers as CYFRA 21-1, which are measured in blood using non-invasive procedure.Methods: The level of CYFRA 21-1 has been measured by ECLIA method in 2050 NSCLC patients (stages I-IIIA) who were surgically treated and 331 (IIIB and IV) who receiving chemotherapy and/or irradiation, before therapy and then longitudinally at control appointments …
